Short Description

Small scale NGS short read sequencing system for longer read length (2x300bp).

Description

The Miseq  is a small, low throuput NGS short-read sequencings system allowing sequencing of 1-25 mio. fragments/flowcell with a length of up to 300 bp paired-end reads. It leverages sequencing by synthesis (SBS) technology by using reversible-terminator fluorescently labeled nucleotides to deliver accurate data and robust performance. Ideally suited for small whohle-genome sequencing projects (of microbial or viral genomes), targeted gene sequencing like amplicon-seq or 16S ribosomal RNA sequencing.
